Our Lady of Victory Homes of Charity’s Major Gifts and Planned Giving Department promotes Thomas C. Lajewski to Corporate and Foundation Giving Officer.
In this newly created role, Lajewski will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward the organization’s activities relating to private and corporate foundations. He will also be responsible for building the visibility of the Homes of Charity’s philanthropic efforts with institutional donors and generating gifts / grants to benefit the mission and grant recipients of Baker Victory Services and Our Lady of Victory National Shrine and Basilica / Elementary School.
Lajewski will actively engage in establishing long-term partnerships - and strengthening existing relationships - with the corporate and foundation sector, as well as other key communities, with the intent of securing funding for the immediate and long-term goals of the Homes of Charity, Baker Victory Services and Our Lady of Victory National Shrine and Basilica / Elementary School.
Prior to accepting his new role, Lajewski served as the organization’s major gifts and planned giving coordinator. He demonstrated skill and expertise in the areas of grant writing and proposal generation having served as a senior grant writer for J. O’Connell & Associates, Inc. Grants Consultants for several years. In his role, Lajewski developed a wide variety of project applications and proposals for municipalities, schools, and not-for-profit agencies throughout New York State.
